The FC Robo forward has backed the Super Falcons to subdue Banyana Banyana in Saturday's final in Accra

Nigeria striker Rasheedat Ajibade says her side's quality and experience will play a crucial role in upstaging South Africa to retain the Africa Women Cup of Nations title on Saturday.

Having lost 1-0 to the Southern Africans, the two teams will meet for the second time in the tournament, and this time in a battle for glory in the finals of the 11th edition at the Accra Sports Stadium.

And the FC Robo of Lagos star is confident her side can dash the hopes of Desiree Ellis' side to secure a first continental honour for the second time after a final defeat in 2000 in South Africa.

"I am confident about the chances of the Super Falcons in the Africa Women Cup of Nations final against South Africa," Ajibade told Goal.

"Though God disposes of whatever man proposes to achieve because it is not just about how good a team is that help them success or the trophy at times in competition.

"I am very confident because of the quality and experience of players in the team. It will play a key role if any team or group of people want to succeed in tournaments like this.

"The players we have here are regulars in their various clubs and not second fiddle, in a very good shape and also played the competition and won several times.

"I believe we everyone on the team combined forces in the game proper like we've done so far in unity, love, cohesion and with great determination, we will triumph.

"South Africa are also a good team because qualifying to the final is as good as winning the trophy because they are not a pushover.

"So, everyone is going to put in their best. The fact remains we are the giant of Africa and we have to work extra hard to retain our trophy."

Having qualified for their eight-successive Women's World Cup taking in France, Nigeria will look to win a record ninth title in Ghana.
