The Algerian international continues to attract interest with PSG joining the race for his signature

Ligue 1 runners-up Paris-Saint Germain are reported to have joined the race to sign Faouzi Ghoulam from Napoli.

PSG joins Premier League side Liverpool in the bid to capture the Algeria international.

Ghoulam still has a year left on his current deal with Serie A side Napoli and has not prolonged his stay with Partenopei.

ESPN reports that the Parisians have earmarked Ghoulam and Nice’s Antero Henrique as direct replacements for retired fullback, Maxwell.

Henrique is on loan to Nice from FC Porto who are said to be asking for 25 million euros for the 23-year-old left-back.

If Unai Emery’s side are keen to bring the 26-year-old former Saint-Etienne defender back to his land of birth, they will have to ward off some serious competition from The Reds who are desperate to add a quality left back to their first team options.

Ghoulam joined Napoli in 2014 and has featured 130 times across all competitions to date.
