Kwara United’s Stephen Alfred has claimed that clubs from Portugal and France have made overtures to him during the current transfer window.

Alfred who is the Harmony Warriors leading scorer with nine goals in the current campaign stated that they are studying transfer proposals from clubs from both countries and that very soon they will decide which is best for his career.

He said the undisclosed clubs want him to come for short trials before they conclude if they will be willing to sign him but that he is exploring other possibilities to see if a club will sign him outright without trials.

“I want to inform you that there are some clubs that have made an approach to me,” Alfred told Goal.

“I am not obliged to disclose their names now for obvious reasons but clubs from Portugal and France have been told approached my club and we are currently studying it to see the one that is best for me. I will prefer the one that will sign me without the option of going for trials.

“Nothing has been decided yet but we are working on it and very soon we shall have news to tell. I am calm about everything and waiting for the right moment.”
