Uganda tactician Paul Nkaka is a set to replace Mike Mururi as Kakamega Homeboyz coach.
Mururi is set to ditch Homeboyz next week according to reliable sources, who exclusively spoke to Goal. Mururi is set to be in charge of his last match for Homeboyz against Tusker at the Ruaraka Ground on Saturday.
According to the source, Mururi could be headed to Vihiga United to take up a new role at the neighbouring Vihiga County from next month.
Sources at Vihiga United told Goal that Mururi could take up the role of an assistant to Edward Manoah.
Those close to the ongoing at the clubs say that Manoah could be elevated to the role of the technical director with his place being filled by Mururi.
“Mururi deliberately refused to renew contract at the beginning of the season because his mind was set somewhere else. He on his way out and this (Tusker match) could be his last with us.”
Former Bandari and Tusker coach Nkata has emerged as a front-runner to replace the former Kenyan international.
