OFFICIAL: Thulani Serero leaves Ajax Amsterdam for Vitesse Arnhem

Bafana Bafana midfielder Thulani Serero has completed his move to Dutch Eredivisie side Vitesse Arnhem after passing his medical with the club on Wednesday..

The former Ajax Cape Town man was frozen out at the 2017 Europa League finalists throughout the campaign, but the Dutch giants have agreed to let him go.

He will officially join them on July 1, 2017 on a three-year deal as he waits for his contract with Ajax Amsterdam to expire at the end of this month.

Vitesse is a partner of English Premier League champions Chelsea where a number of Blues players spend loan spells with the Dutch club as part of their development.

He will have the unique opportunity of playing Uefa Europa League football next season after the club finished fifth in the Eredivisie last term.

He could make his debut for his new club in a pre-season friendly against KV Oostende next month, the club of his Bafana Bafana teammate Andile Jali.
