NSL: Green Commandos roar as Kibera Black Stars get a point

Three matches were played on Friday in the round of 22 of the ongoing National Super League.

FC Talanta's form continued to deepen in the NSL after falling 2-1 to Green Commandos. Evans Okinyi put the 'students' ahead in the 9th minute from the penalty spot before Brian Okeyo made things even a few minutes to the break. The winner came in the 88th minute courtesy of the former.

Nakuru All Stars failed to utilize the home advantage and settled for a one all draw against visiting Kibera Black Stars. The Geoffrey Oduor led side fell behind in the 78th minute through Charles Ouma, but about two minutes later it was all square thanks to Henry Onyango's ninth goal of the season.

GFE 105 and Kisumu All Stars played to a barren draw at Sudi Stadium. On Saturday, Administration Police will face Kangemi All Stars at Camp Toyoyo, with Ushuru and KCB playing two hours later at the same venue.

Nairobi Stima will play Coast Stima at Karuturi Grounds, with Bidco United and ST Joseph’s Youth facing each other at Thika Stadium. Another match will be between Western Stima and Isibania at Moi Stadium, Kisumu.
