Ngoma wants to learn from Modise at Cape Town City

Cape Town City winger Aubrey Ngoma has backed the club new signings to an added attacking weapon in the final third.

The Telkom Knockout Cup champions made some interesting signings, bringing in Teko Modise and Ayanda Patosi among others.

“To be honest, it’s exciting to know that the team has added quality players to the team. It gives us that motivation that we are playing at an ambitious club that wants to win things,” Ngoma told Goal.

The Citizens are looking to build on last season’s success where they finished third on the log and clinched the Telkom Knockout Cup.

“To sign players like Teko, Lyle Lakay and Ayanda Patosi is very good. They are all exciting players. I’m sure they are going to add a lot of value to our attacking play, that’s important for the club. It’s important for the club to improve every year. With the additions we have made now, it’s good because they will give the team a different dimension from what we had last season. They are all different type of players,” Ngoma said.

It’s the signing of Modise that has the club all excited, especially Ngoma, who says they are looking to learn a lot from him.

“He is a very good addition to the team. He adds that competition in midfield and I’m sure every player is looking forward to playing with him and gaining the experience,” Ngoma said.

“We are looking to learn as much as possible from him, and also he will learn a thing or two from us. He comes to a team that’s ambitious and I’m sure he wants to win titles before he retires,” Ngoma added.
