Yanga are without a Head Coach since George Lwandamina's departure

Yanga Caretaker Coach, Noel Mwandila has put their recent struggles down to the lack of the presence a Head Coach in the team after being held in goalless draw by Rwanda’s Rayon Sports in CAF Confederation Cup.

Speaking after the match, Mwandila said that, the importance of Head Coach in the team in unmeasurable and his presence will able to lift the team's performance.

“When we have a Head Coach we can share ideas before making the right decisions but right now it is very hard to do such things” said Mwandila.

Since the departure of Lwandamina, the team has remained on the hands of Mwandila and Shadrack Nsajigwa who were all assistants to the Zambian coach.
