Keita Balde has revealed his ambition at Inter Milan, stating that he wants ‘to be remembered’ at the club.
In the summer, the 23-year-old joined the Nerazzurri from Monaco in a €6 million loan deal, with the agreement including an option to sign him permanently for a further €42m plus a percentage of any future transfer.
So far, Keita has played in four but he is yet to open his goal account. However, he has set his sights on becoming an icon at the ‘great club’.
“I want to become a part of this great club,” Keita told Sky, per Football Italia.
“I’d like my name to be remembered by the fans. Basically, I see this as a point of arrival.
The former Lazio forward also hailed ex-La Masia teammate and Inter captain Mauro Icardi's marksmanship ability.
“Mauro Icardi? He’s a striker who you maybe don’t see that often during the match, but he’s very hard to miss in the penalty box.”
