Minnaert: We deserved the result against Yanga

Rayon Sports Head Coach, Ivan Minnaert has claimed that they deserved the result they got against Yanga in their CAF Confederation Cup clash played on Wednesday in Dar es Salaam.  

Speaking after the match, the Belgium said that his players were very focused on the game and played with purpose.

He added that, they were compact throughout the game something which gave Yanga who were tried to win at home a hard time.

“We deserve the result because we played very well, we did not give Yanga the chances they needed, my players were very focused” said Minnaert.

In the match, Angolan referee Helder Martin correctly ruled out two Rayon Sport’s goals for offside.

The results leaves Rayon Sports with two points after they also drew at home in their opening game against Kenyan side Gor Mahia.
