Medo’s raid over his former side left Mount Kenya FC with no option, but to call for open trials

Melis Medo has turned his anger on his former side, Nakumatt by raiding the side of three key players.

Medo, who joined Sofapaka last week from Mount Kenya FC, previously known as Nakumatt, lured three players from the cash-strapped side to Batoto Ba Mungu . The American tactician left with midfielder Tom Adwar, forward John Avire and Faina Jacobs.

The trio took to nine, the number of signings Sofapaka have made so far this season, as Medo shape up ahead of the new campaign.

Others are Cliff Kasuti, who joined from Ulinzi Stars, Rwandan Soter Kayumba, Titus Achesa, goalkeepers Robert Aimo, Isaiah Wakasala and Ibrahim Kajuba.

Medo’s raid over his former side left Mount Kenya FC with no option, but to call for open trials to beef up the squad. The side will be conducting one-day open trials on Sunday 18th at Railways Club from 8am to 11am.
