Liverpool team news: Matip and Oxlade-Chamberlain start against Swansea

Joel Matip returns from an adductor injury to start in the heart of defence as Liverpool host Swansea City on Boxing Day.

The centre-back was sidelined for the past six fixtures and replaces Dejan Lovren in the XI, with the Croatian on the bench.

Jurgen Klopp has made four changes from the first 11 in the 3-3 draw at Arsenal, with Gini Wijnaldum replacing the injured Jordan Henderson, Trent Alexander-Arnold rotating in for Joe Gomez with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain switching with Sadio Mane.

Simon Mignolet and Philippe Coutinho make their 200th appearances in all competitions for Liverpool, with the Brazilian donning the armband in Tuesday evening's test.
