Club Brugge have announced new deals for Charles De Ketelaere and Noa Lang

De Ketelaere has extended his deal with the team until 2024

Lang, meanwhile, has committed himself to the club until 2025.

Roberto set to take paycut in new Barca deal


Sergi Roberto will sign his new contract with Barcelona next week, reports Marca.

The deal will include a pay cut, similar to the ones taken by the club's other captains to help facilitate the summer signings.

Sergi Roberto was whistled at the Camp Nou during his last appearance for being the last to agree to that pay cut.

Weah heads to Sacramento on loan


Minnesota United have loaned Patrick Weah to Sacramento Republic FC, the clubs announced.

The 17-year-old forward will spend the rest of the season on loan with the club after signing his first pro contract in March.

“Patrick is an exciting young talent that adds a different element to our attack,” said Republic FC President and General Manager Todd Dunivant. “We look forward to welcoming him to the squad as we head down the final stretch of the season.”

Manchester United legend David Beckham has increased his stake in Inter Miami, with the former England captain saying he is "more committed than ever" to the MLS franchise.

Beckham is a co-owner of the Florida-based outfit but, along with Mas brothers Jorge and Jose, has taken on even greater control after finalising the buyout of Marcelo Claure and Masayoshi Son.

Higuain told ESPN of the Messi rumours: "I don't want to get in trouble, I don't know about Leo in Miami. The club wants it, we'll see."

The 17-year-old defender signed for Liverpool from rivals Everton aged 12 and has come through the academy system, scoring on the opening game of the season for the U18s.

The report says Bellingham wants to know all about the culture at Man Utd as he ponders his future options, and is in regular contact with former Dortmund team mate Sancho, who moved to the Red Devils in the summer.

Ander Herrera believes Kylian Mbappe can be convinced to sign a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain, with a summer transfer away from Parc des Princes never on the cards for the World Cup-winning forward.

Herrera told El Larguero when asked about the exit talk surrounding Mbappe and the chances of him staying put: "I had the intuition that he was going to stay.

Michael Rummenigge, brother of Bayern Munich legend Karl-Heinz, has attacked Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic. 

Salihamidzic criticised Marco Reus' early departure from the German national team due to injury before playing in Borussia Dortmund's first game after the international break, which led to a public exchange of blows with BVB sports director Michael Zorc .

"He [Salihamidzic] forgot a bit," Rummenigge told Sport1 podcast "Meine Bayern-Woche". "Thomas Muller also arrived and left injured and then played against Leipzig and Barcelona. He then compared that with Reus, but you can't compare apples with pears. First think, then speak!

"Maybe Hasan still has to prove himself a bit in the big football world. Zorc has been in the business for 20 years and is actually a quiet representative. When he says something, then that already has an effect. You saw that this week."

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has shut down claims that Jesse Lingard could soon leave the club, insisting the forward was an important part of his plans even after the additions of Jadon Sancho and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Lingard, who resurrected his career while on loan at West Ham last season, found the net last weekend in a 4-1 win over Newcastle.

“Jesse has come back into us after a great spell at West Ham," Solskjaer said. "He’s shown his qualities and is back in the England squad, he scored goals for England and we really want to see the best of Jesse this season.
