Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof was 'struggling to breathe' after being forced off during Saturday's Premier League meeting with Norwich City.
With 20 minutes to go of the match, the Sweden international went down seemingly with no other players in close proximity.
He was swiftly taken out of the action, shortly before Cristiano Ronaldo put his side ahead from the penalty spot, with the Red Devils delivering another update on his condition.

United have seen their next fixture, which was due to take place against Brentford on Tuesday, postponed due to a Covid-19 outbreak in their camp.
Lindelof is still undergoing medical checks in a bid to nurse him back to full health, with the Red Devils confident that the issue he experienced at Carrow Road is entirely separate to the coronavirus struggles currently being endured.
A statement from the club reads: “Victor is currently undergoing a series of precautionary investigations however he has recovered well from the episode he experienced in the match against Norwich.
“All indications are that this is not linked to any Covid outbreak within the club.”
What happened?
With 70 minutes played against Norwich, Lindelof began to struggle on the pitch.
He appeared to be contending with a chest problem and manager Ralf Rangnick moved to withdraw him as a precaution.
Eric Bailly entered for the centre-back, who seemed to be struggling to walk down the touchline as he came off.
"He’s in the changing room. He felt a bit of discomfort," Harry Maguire told Sky Sports when asked about his defensive partner.
"We don’t really know too much details but he seems fine in there. He felt discomfort and we all wish him well."
United manager Rangnick added: "He can't even remember himself how it happened. I think he had a collision with another player and he had problems to breathe for more than 10 minutes, his heart rate was higher than normal and therefore he was a little bit shocked and he didn’t know how to deal with it.
"After the game we did some check-ups with the doctor and it seems everything is okay."
The bigger picture
Lindelof was withdrawn moments before Ronaldo settled the game in United's favour.
The striker won a penalty for his side and converted expertly himself past Tim Krul to give Rangnick's charges a crucial three points.
That result has left Rangnick's side fifth in the Premier League table, but they will not get the opportunity to improve that standing until taking in a home date with Brighton on Saturday - if they are cleared to stage that fixture.
