Ninje unhappy with players perfomance after Zanzibar defeat


Kilimanjaro Stars Head Coach, Ammy Ninje is unhappy with his player’s performance after the defeat on the group stage of the CECAFA tournament.

Zanzibar came from a goal down to down neighbors Tanzania 2-1 in a hotly contested match played at Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos on Thursday.

Zanzibar are now top of Group A with maximum points following their initial 3-1 win against Rwanda.


Kelvin Yondani out for two weeks


Yanga and Taifa Stars star defender Kelvin Yondani will sit out the rest of the CECAFA group stages matches after picking up an injury during the group match against Zanzibar which Stars lost.

Erasto Nyoni is set to take his place in the squad for the Rwanda and Kenya matches.


Mudathir Yahya is November Player of the Month


Singida United's Mudathir Yahya has won the Tanzania Premier League Player of the Month award beating Lipuli Defender Asante Kwesi and also his teammate from Singida United striker Usengimana.

Mudathir has been in fine form since the beggining of the season and has been awarded with a great month with the award.
