In a media statement released earlier today, MFL went on to state the following;

"With respect to the decision of the board of directors of Malaysian Football League (MFL) dated April 20 2018, where Kuantan FA were cut from participating in the 100PLUS Malaysia Premier League 2018, the board has also decided on the standings status of the league. The MFL board has decided that all matches involving Kuantan FA will be nullified."

"This means that all the goals scored, points accrued and matches that have been played against Sarawak, MIFA, UiTM FC, UKM FC, Felda United FC, Pulau Pinang and PDRM will not be counted."

"However, those that violate the Competition Technical Organisation (OTP), including discpline matters of yellow cards and sending off, red card will still be in effect. Kuantan will be removed from the schedule and the league will commence with just 11 teams until the end of the 2018 season"

Kuantan have been plagued with financial issue dating back to last season, where some of the players and staffs did not receive their monthly salaries.

While this only solve what is on-going this season, MFL have yet to confirm with regards to the relegation and promotion for next season. WIll it be just one team drop from the Premier League to the FAM League or be two clubs.

Adjustments to the league table was also made to remove results involving Kuantan but it still sees Felda United leading the pack with 20 points, six points ahead of their nearest challenger in Felcra.
