On the other hand, Okoth - who was signed in June 2016 - terminated his contract on mutual agreement after finding playing time hard to come by in the latter stages of the first leg of the current campaign. Coach Francis Kimanzi expressed his gratitude for their dedication to the team adding that they still have a bright future ahead of them.

"Mwangi has been a loyal servant to the team and there was no need to hold on to him if he has found greener pastures elsewhere. This is a way of thanking him for the service he has given this team. Okoth also had a good time here and I believe he has left a better player. We wish them all the best in their new teams," Kimanzi told club's official website.
