Kariobangi Sharks believe they have what it takes to clinch 2017 GOtv Shield Cup.

Sharks were just two games away from lifting the Shield last year but crashed out of the race in the quarter-finals stage. Coach William Muluya, who has gone 10 games unbeaten in the premier league, thinks that his side can replicate that form in the knockout tournament.

“This is a trophy that is within our reach and we shall try everything to win it. Last year we got to the quarters so this year we have to record an even better performance," Muluya was quoted on official KPL website.

Muluya men will take on 2014 champions, Sofapaka in the last 16 at Nyayo Stadium on Sunday.
