Kariobangi Sharks have tied down five core members of the squad with long-term contracts.
Sharks who finished third last season, extended midfielder Patilah Omotto, Christopher Kimathi, Geoffrey Shiveka, Hillary Dan and Eric Juma's stay at the club for another four years.
“The five have been great servants of the team giving their all when called upon. Having walked with the team for this long and with their experience, the contract renewal signal the confidence they have with the team.”
“It's truly an exciting time to see this happen and maintaining the family unity that we have always been,” said the club chairman, Robert Maoga.
But Sharks, who signed four players, also had a fair share of loses to count.
Last season club's top scorer, Masoud Juma left for South Africa with Cape Town City FC while former Gor Mahia midfielder, Ibrahim Kitawi and Ellie Asieche decamped to Sofapaka FC with Osborne Monday and Calvin Odongo moving to Posta Rangers.
