Solinas has already bagged two wins in a row, but Usuthu will certainly be no pushovers looking at their performance against Sundowns last week

After back-to-back victories in the league,  Kaizer Chiefs  welcome AmaZulu to the FNB Stadium in search of their first home win of the season.

Amakhosi have already sent a strong message to their rivals by moving up to fifth on the log after two wins away from home.

What they need is to turn it up in front of their home fans and make it three wins in a row.

Usuthu did extremely well against Sundowns and nearly stole all the three points only for Sibusiso Vilakazi to score the equaliser five minutes from time.

Cavin Johnson is certainly doing something right at the Durban-based outfit and they play without fear, especially against the so called big teams.

Squads & Team News

Position Missing players
Defender Erick Mathoho (injured)
Midfielder Joseph Molangoane (injured)
Striker Leonardo Castro (injured)

Leonardo Castro has been ruled out of action for the next three weeks with an ankle injury, but Amakhosi have Gustavo Paez available to fill the void left by the Colombian striker.

Paez scored on his return to the starting line-up against Free State Stars, and Solinas will no doubt hope for more from him.

With Erick Mathoho also sidelined, Mario Booysen is likely to keep his place in the team alongside Siyabonga Ngenzana. The duo marshaled the defence well and help Chiefs keep only their second clean sheet of the season in Tuesday's match away to Ea Lla Koto.

The rotation policy appears to be working for Solinas, and after making seven changes to the team that beat Cape Town City for Tuesday's encounter, more changes are expected in Saturday's match.

The likes of Ramahlwe Mphahlele, Lebogang Manyama, Siphelele Ntshangase as well as Dumisani Zuma could return for this encounter.

Potential Chiefs XI: Khune, Mphahlele, Walusimbi, Booysen, Ngezana, Katsande, Maluleka, Manyama, Billiat, Zuma, Paez .

Meanwhile, AmaZulu have not reported any injuries from their camp, but the absence of Siyabonga Nomvethe from the previous encounter was visible.

The veteran forward announced last week that he will be retiring from professional football at the end of his contract with Usuthu later this year.

However, it looks like Cavin Johnson has already prepared his team for life without Bhele, as he has introduced exciting players such as Buthelezwe Ncube and Jabulani Ncobeni among others.

Potential AmaZulu XI: Josephs,Sikhakhane, Nyongo, Gumede, Mabiliso, Ncube, Vilakazi, Ramphela, Ncobeni, Sithebe, Ntuli

Match Preview

Amakhosi go into this encounter sitting in fourth position, three points behind joint log leaders Bloemfontein Celtic and Bidvest Wits

They have scored six goals in their last two league matches, something which will please Solinas and his technical team.

The fact that they have started to concede less means that Chiefs are slowly getting it right in defence.

Usuthu are in position nine on the log and on average, they score 0.4 goals per match.

In head to head stats, the two sides have met 15 times to day, with Chiefs winning 11 to AmaZulu's none while four matches ended in draws.
