Jesse Were leads compatriots for a crucial Caf Champions League assignment

Jesse Were will lead Kenyans David Owio and Anthony Akumu for a trip to Angola with Zesco United ahead of a Caf Champions League match.

Zesco United are set to play Primero Agosto on Friday and Were made the trip, alongside defender Owino and midfielder Akumu, who missed the opening match against the side at home with an injury.

The inclusion of Akumu is expected to add depth to Zesco United, who are bottom of the Group, knowing that nothing but maximum points will revive their chances of progressing to the next round.
