The Kolkata side have appointed former Manchester United and England striker Teddy Sheringham as their gaffer along with I-League winning former Bengaluru FC coach Ashley Westwood who has joined the team as the Technical Director.
The team has also undergone a major rebranding. La Liga giants Atletico Madrid, who were the franchise’s co-owner in the first three seasons, have opted to part ways the team and as a result, the club will now be known as 'ATK'.
ATK roped in some quality Indian players during the ISL draft including Eugeneson Lyngdoh, Robin Singh, Debjit Majumder. Former Liverpool striker Robby Keane has also joined the side as their marquee player. They play their first match of ISL 4 against Kerala Blasters at Kolkata on November 17.

ATK have played two matches in Dubai so far and have maintained a 100% win record. Their first victory came against Dubai Irish Football Club on October 23rd. Bipin Singh and Rupert Nongrum’s strikes helped them secure a 2-1 win.
Their second win came against Dibba Al-Hisn Sports & Culture Club on October 27th where they came back from behind to bag the game 3-2. Jose Branco, Robbie Keane and Bipin Singh scored for the Kolkata-based club.
