Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier has admitted that the club never wanted to lose youngster Erick 'Marcelo' Ouma.
The youngster ditched the Green Army for Georgia's FC Kolkheti-1913 Poti where he signed a three year deal. Rachier says the team managed to sign his replacement and it is ready to move on.
“’Marcelo’ was a good player who helped us a great deal, and the fact is that we never wanted to lose him. However we did not reach an agreement with his agents and we ended up losing him. As a club we wish him the best in his new team and we know he will be successful.
"We have signed his replacement already and we are now looking forward to a new season," he told Goal.
