Gor Mahia still recall 'Marcelo' input

The sensational defender parted ways with Gor Mahia and joined Georgian club in January

Gor Mahia chairman Ambrose Rachier has admitted that the club never wanted to lose youngster Erick 'Marcelo' Ouma.

The youngster ditched the Green Army for Georgia's FC Kolkheti-1913 Poti where he signed a three year deal. Rachier says the team managed to sign his replacement and it is ready to move on.

“’Marcelo’ was a good player who helped us a great deal, and the fact is that we never wanted to lose him. However we did not reach an agreement with his agents and we ended up losing him. As a club we wish him the best in his new team and we know he will be successful.

"We have signed his replacement already and we are now looking forward to a new season," he told Goal.
