Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr admits fatigue is catching up despite Posta Rangers win

Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr has admitted that tiredness is catching up with his players despite another win that put them closer to defending the title.

Goals from star Jacques Tuyisenge and Francis Kahata ensured that K’Ogalo bounced back to winning ways after losing their unbeaten run with a 2-1 win against Posta Rangers at Kisumu Stadium on Friday.

With another league match coming up against Kakamega Homeboyz on Monday, coach Dylan Kerr has revealed to Goal that his squad is now feeling the heat of the August fixtures.

“Honestly speaking, tiredness is now catching up with us.

“We simply don’t have supplements to help do a spa, a massage, ice baths or anything but myself and the technical bench are doing whatever we can to research the best for our players. My main target is to prepare and keep the concentration level of the players at the highest point.

“We played at the worst pitch in Mombasa and lost to Bandari but that will not stop what we are trying to achieve. We will stop on October 7 when the KPL season ends but until then I am going to demand for more from my players.

“Against Posta Rangers, I asked for a performance of character and demanded the players to dig deep when we needed to do and everyone did exactly that and we will have to dig even more on Monday and Thursday to get what we want.”

Gor Mahia are closing in on another league title and could seal it in August.
