Coach Paa Kwesi Fabin says his chages are doing the necessary preparations to claim victory on Wednesday in the Africa Under-17 Cup of Nations

Ghana are leaving no stone unturned ahead of Wednesday's semi-final clash with Niger at the ongoing Africa Under-17 Cup of Nations, according to coach Paa Kwesi Fabin.

The Black Starlets reached the last four in a spectacular fashion, humiliating the likes of Cameroon and hosts Gabon to top Group A.

The 1999 champions are set to battle the Menas for a place in the final and coach Paa Kwesi Fabin sheds light on their preparations and ambitions.

"We are ready to go; and we are going to be offensive from the start because we need to score goals; and we are going to attack, attack and attack so as to get early goals in other to calm nerves," Fabin told Cafonline.

"We have also trained for penalties just in case because we are now in the knockout stages.

"Niger has a very good team and I'm not going to single out any player in the team, we are going to get ready for them and we have prepared for any kind of eventuality."

But Ghana and Niger are not new to each other at all.

Their familiarity is steeped in a double-header of friendlies only last month as part of preparations for the tournament.

The Black Starlets scored two unanswered goals in both games - an obvious confidence booster for the Ghanaians.

"We both have a fair idea about ourselves because we played twice in Accra before the tournament here; so, we should expect an interesting match," Fabin added.

"Seriously, we want to use the remaining matches of this tournament to show the world that Africa would be a force to be reckoned with at the World Cup in India."

All four semifinalists have automatically qualified for the world championship in India in October.
