The 17-year-old talks about his love for the Belgium international and the Blues hit man

Ghana’s Sadiq Ibrahim at the ongoing Fifa Under-17 World Cup in India is looking to follow in the footsteps of Chelsea star Eden Hazard.

The Right to Dream Academy winger has arguably been the Black Starlets' brightest spot so far.

He started each of the three group games but it was in the opener against Colombia that he caught the biggest attention as his lone goal ensured a 1-0 win for Ghana.

“I am a huge fan of Eden Hazard," Ibrahim told Hindustan Times.

“In my opinion, he is one of the best wingers in the world.

"I always try to learn from his performances.

“My ultimate dream is to play for Chelsea, just like Hazard.

"I think the Premier League is a brilliant platform and in five years, my target is to represent the Blues.”

Ibrahim will, however, not be in action in Ghana's next game as he is set to sit out Wednesday's round of 16 clash with Niger due to suspension.

Like Ibrahim, Hazard played for Belgium at the 2007 Under-17 World Cup in South Korea.

The winger joined Chelsea in 2012 and has since become the live wire of the Blues and Belgium's senior national set-up.
