FC Talanta coach hits out at time wasting

FC Talanta coach John Kamau has hit out at Wazito FC for time wasting tactics during their Nationwide Super League match on Sunday.

A Dennis Gicheru's 17th minute header was enough to give Wazito all the three points at the expense of the visitors. The unhappy Kamau has also rued the missed chances that cost his side valuable points.

"It was a good match, we started on a low mode but gained momentum as time went by. I feel we could have comfortably won this match by a good margin, but we were let down by poor finishing, we did not put away chances created in first and second half," Kamau told Goal.

"They (Wazito FC) also resorted to time wasting tactics, they fell down at will and it really annoyed me because the referee never cautioned them. It is gone, now we focus on our next fixture."

Talanta struggled badly last season, something that led to mass exodus, but Kamau is keen on ensuring it does not happen again.
