FAB-5 Football Challenge: Anuoluwapo primary school are 2018 champions

Anuoluwapo Alimosho are champions of the 2018 Fab-5 Challenge after defeating St. Paul Anglican, Mainland 1-0 on Saturday.

Pelumi Ajewole's late effort was enough for the Alimosho based school to emerge victorious at the Campos Mini Stadium, Onikan.

St. Paul Anglican and Anuoluwapo Alimosho progressed to the final stage of the tournament after defeating Toydam Nursery & Primary School and Community Primary School, Ikorodu respectively via penalties.

Both sides enjoyed a good game of football but squandered their chances until Ajewole's lone strike sent fans into a frenzy.

Meanwhile, Lagos State Model Primary School are the champions of the maiden female tourney after humbling Baptist Girls Primary School 3-2 via penalty shootout.

For the individual recognition, Afeez Ikotun was named the Rising Star of the tournament while Alice Diles was awarded the female Rising Star prize.
