Gor Mahia will take a train trip to Mombasa to honour their the FKF Shield fixture against SS Assad.
This will be the maiden train trip made by k'Ogalo to an away fixture this season.
Gor Mahia coach Dylan Kerr is looking forward to his maiden trip to the Coast using the SGR.
“It’s a trip that we are looking forward to because it will be exciting to see the different scenes along the way.
"It is a perfect chance to appreciate what nature has and who wouldn’t want to enjoy such? To me and l want to believe to many of us in the team, it’s a good idea, once in a while we can explore such,” Kerr said.
Kerr added: “We are focused on tomorrow’s match and we just want the players to be relaxed and be in the right mindset. We had a wonderful training session this morning and we are just preparing to travel.”
It takes about four hours from Nairobi to Mombasa by train and a total of 16 players and technical staffs will be making it down to face the Mombasa based team in Round One of the Shield tournament sponsored by
