Goal understands that the Everton players are not keen to have interviews with journalists camping at the 60,000 seater stadium hence the decision to remain locked up at the dressing room. A source within the stadium revealed, "Everton have refused to come out of the changing room until journalists have left the ground.
"They dont want to be interviewed or have practice in front of the press."
Everton arrived on Wednesday for the friendlly against the Kenyan champions with Yannick Bolasie receiving a hero’s welcome from hordes of African football fans at Dar es Salaam airport.
