Antwerp then capitalised on their numerical advantage with Mbokani sealing the victory in the 83rd minute.

The former Dynamo Kyiv striker featured for 90 minutes before making way for Ghana’s William Owusu while Senegal international Amara Baby was introduced for Ivo Rodrigues in the 62nd minute.

The win has leapfrogged them to the third spot in the log after garnering 31 points from 15 games.

Mbokani who has now scored four goals this season, will be hoping to increase the tally when Royal Antwerp square up with Gent on November 25 after the international break.
