Cote d'Ivoire's Moryke Fofana ends goal drought in Konyaspor's victory

The 26-year-old ended his 11-game goal drought with a second-half effort that sealed his team's first victory since September

Moryke Fofana scored his first goal since August 18 to give Konyaspor a 2-0 win over Ankaragucu on Saturday.

The Ivorian attacker doubled the Anatolian Eagle's lead with his 77th effort that took his tally to two goals in 12 Turkish Super Lig outings this season.

Mali's Mustapha Yatabare, Senegal's Fallou Diagne and Fofana were in action for the hosts while Nigeria's Olanrewaju Kehinde and Morocco's Moestafa El Kabir could not help Ankaragucu salvage at least a point in Konya Buyuksehir Stadium.

Konyaspor moved to the ninth place in the Turkish top-flight table with 17 points from 12 games - two points adrift of Saturday's visitors.

They travel to Istanbul for their next league outing against reigning champions Galatasaray on November 23.
