UEFA Champions League final: The key men - Roberto Firmino

Roberto Firmino will be one of the players to look out for as Spurs take on Liverpool for the title in the summit clash at Madrid...

After facing defeat in the previous two Champions League final appearances Liverpool will be looking to lift the biggest prize in European football when they take on familiar rivals Tottenham Hotspur in Madrid on Sunday.

Roberto Firmino is one of the key players of Liverpool's attacking trident with the other two being Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah. The Brazilian has been instrumental for the Reds this season and after missing out in the historic semi-final comeback against Barcelona at Anfield, he would be raring to make an impact in the final.

Firmino has scored four goals in Champions League this season in 11 appearances and Jurgen Klopp will once again count on the forward who has the knack of scoring important goals.

The 27-year old's first goal in this edition of Champions League came against PSG in the group stage. His injury-time goal turned out to be decisive as both teams were locked at 2-2.

Firmino scored his second of the tournament against Crvena Zvezda. The former Hoffenheim striker scored in both the legs against FC Porto in the quarter-final and helped Liverpool sail comfortably to the semi-finals where they went on to face Spanish giants FC Barcelona.

But Firmino sustained a muscle injury in training and the five-time European champions had to do without his services in the return leg against Barcelona.
