The 17-year-old has blood cancer and has expressed a desire to see Bayern live on one more occasion in his lifetime, with his condition meaning he is unable to visit the Allianz Arena.

Ulreich has helped to make that possible, with the 28-year-old saying he was only too happy to help once being made aware of the situation.

He told Bild: "For me it is a natural thing, a matter of the heart to help with something like this.

“I didn't think about it for one moment. A lot of things have to take a back seat."

Jax added his prediction for a midweek contest, saying: "I don't know what to say. I am really looking forward to it.
