Bandari appoint new stewards

Coast-based Kenya Premier League side Bandari FC has appointed new stewards.

The club’s CEO Edward Oduor confirmed that the decision was made by the club management board in its effort to streamline the operations of the club and in compliance with the new Kenya Premier League rules and regulations.

"Bandari football club management board met and, in efforts to streamline the club’s operation, relieved duties a group of stewards, who have been serving the club and in place appointed new stewards. The decision is in conformity with the new Kenya Premier League rules and regulations," he told Goal.

Oduor revealed the new stewards underwent a one-day induction training to understand their roles and responsibilities which included but not limited to managing the gates and control the crowd entering the stadium.

The stewards started their duty during last Saturday’s Kenya Premier League opening match between Bandari and Nakumatt.
