Ghana international Andre Ayew heads for his first international duty in over a year on high confidence after netting to help Fenerbahce to a 2-0 victory over Alanyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday.
The winger's strike at Sukru Saracoglu Stadium helped The Yellow Canaries to their first win in seven games in the elite division.
It was his third topflight goal in 12 appearances involving 12 starts since completing a loan move from English side Swansea City in the summer.
Ayew put his name on the score sheet in Sunday's game on 19 minutes, planting the ball into the back of the net on Mauricio Isla's assist.
Twelve minutes later, Michael Frey made it 2-0 for the home side after being set up by France international Mathieu Valbuena.
The win has taken Fenerbahce to 13th on the league table, three places ahead of Alanyaspor.
Ayew, having been called up by Ghana for the first time in 14 months, heads for national duty in high spirits as the Black Stars prepare to face Ethiopia in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying.
His younger brother Jordan has also been named in the 20-man squad for the November 18 fixture in Addis Ababa.
