Asamoah Gyan scores winner for Kayserispor

Ghana international, Asamoah Gyan scored the lone goal for Kayserispor in their 1-0 victory over Van Buyuksehir Belediyespor in a Turkish Cup fixture.

The former Sunderland striker registered his first goal of the season in the 12th minutes of the challenge after failing in his two previous games for Marius Șumudica’s side.

The forward who teamed up with the Kadir Has Stadium outfit in the summer from Shanghai SIPG plundered nine goals for the Chinese side last season before he made his switch.

Anatolian Star will next lock horns with Kasımpasa in Recep Tayyip Erdogan Stadium in the Turkish Super Lig on Sunday and the Black Stars’ captain will be hoping to increase his tally in the outing.
