Arsenal in talks over Aubameyang transfer

Arsenal have made contact with Borussia Dortmund over a move for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, reports the Telegraph .

The Gabon international has been recommended to the Gunners by the club's new head of recruitment Sven Mislintat, the scout who brought Aubameyang to Dortmund back in 2013. 

Malcom is also close to signing for Arsene Wenger's team in a deal reportedly worth £44 million from Bordeaux.

Chelsea in for Alexis after Man City withdrawal

Manchester United's main rivals for Alexis Sanchez's transfer now appear to be Chelsea after Man City dropped out of the race, reports the Manchester Evening News.

City had appeared close to signing the Arsenal star, but have now withdrawn from contention frustrated at the pace of negotiations.

But United have not landed their man yet, and could even see a reported £35 million fee pushed up by the Blues' late interest. 

Mourinho hints at Mkhitaryan exit

Jose Mourinho has suggested that Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to leave Manchester United.

Mkhitaryan has reportedly been part of the negotiations regarding Alexis Sanchez's move to Old Trafford and looks set to be heading to Arsenal.

Martial a makeweight in Alexis bid

Manchester United are closing in on a move for Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal and could throw in Anthony Martial as part of a deal for the Chile international, the Evening Standard reports.

The Red Devils are ready to throw in the France star as part of the transfer, which could prove decisive as the Gunners hold out for a fee of around £30-35 million. Manchester City, meanwhile, have stalled their interest.

Arsenal explore Auba & Mkhi deals

Arsenal are exploring the possibility of signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in addition to Malcom, reports the Daily Telegraph

With Alexis Sanchez seemingly now on his way to Manchester United , the Gunners are searching for a replacement and are closing in on a £44 million deal for Bordeaux star Malcom .

But Arsenal are also interested in signing Aubameyang from Borussia Dortmund and the Gabon striker’s former team-mate Mkhitaryan from United as part of the Alexis deal.

Ozil on Juve's radar

Arsenal's Mesut Ozil and Tottenham's Christian Eriksen are both of interest to Juventus, reports  Calciomercato

Ozil is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season and has also been strongly linked with a move to Manchester United, while Eriksen has insisted he is happy at Spurs amid talk of being offered a new deal.

Juventus are also reportedly interested in signing Ozil's Arsenal team-mate Hector Bellerin. 

Leicester determined to keep Mahrez 

Leicester City are committed to keeping Riyad Mahrez at the club beyond the January transfer window, according to manager Claude Puel.

The Algeria international, a key member of the Foxes' title-winning side of 2015-16, has been in a rich vein of form recently, directly contributing to eight goals - five goals, three assists - in his last 10 Premier League appearances.

PSG raise Guedes price

PSG have raised their asking price for Arsenal, Real Madrid and Manchester United target Goncalo Guedes to €70m, reports Telefoot .

The 21-year-old is on loan with Valencia and has also drawn interest from the Spanish side for a permanent deal. 

Zorc frustrated with Auba behaviour 

Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has expressed frustration with the attitude of striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who was dropped for Sunday's 0-0 draw with Wolfsburg after missing a team meeting.

The forward has been heavily linked with Arsenal, and Zorc has hinted that the German side are at the end of their patience with his erratic behaviour.

Manchester City have pulled the plug on their pursuit of Alexis Sanchez, leaving rivals Manchester United with a clear run at tying up a shock deal for the Arsenal man in the coming days.

Arsenal are closing in on a deal to sign Bordeaux forward Malcom for a fee of £44 million,  Goal  understands.

The 20-year-old has impressed in Ligue 1 this season and is set to be signed to help replace Alexis Sanchez as the Chile international prepares to leave the Gunners.

St Etienne target Debuchy deal

St Etienne are interested in signing Arsenal’s out-of-favour full-back Mathieu Debuchy, according to Telefoot .

Debuchy is looking for a move away from Arsenal  in search of regular football and has been linked with a switch to West Brom as part of a potential swap deal involving Jonny Evans.

The France international is also wanted back in Ligue 1, with St Etienne exploring the feasibility of a January deal.

Wenger expects Alexis resolution within 48 hours

Arsene Wenger expects Alexis Sanchez's future to be resolved within the next 48 hours.

The Chile international is wanted by both Manchester City and Manchester United, but a bid has yet to be officially accepted by the Gunners.

Speaking after Arsenal lost 2-1 at Bournemouth on Sunday, Wenger said: "It will be decided in the next 48 hours. It was difficult for him because he was on standby a little bit."
