Arouna Kone was on the scoresheet as Sivasspor were held to a 1-1 draw by Akhisarspor in Saturday’s Turkish Super Lig game.
After their season-opening win over Alanyaspor, the visitors suffered back-to-back losses against Trabzonspor and Kasımpaşa.
And Kone’s goal a minute after the halftime break looked to have Tamer Tuna’s men set for a change of fortune until Adrien Regattin’s strike in the 82nd minute forced them to a share of the spoils.
Sivasspor now have four points from as many games and are placed 11th in the log.
They play BB Erzurumspor on September 15, after the international break.
