Another Gor Mahia player set to miss Cecafa

Gor Mahia midfielder Kenneth Muguna has been omitted from Harambee Stars squad for Cecafa tournament.

Thika United ace Said Tsuma has been called up by coach Paul Put to replace Muguna, who will miss the regional tournament owing to injury.

Another Gor Mahia player – defender Haroun Shakava – was also dropped from the Kenyan squad on similar grounds. Zoo Kericho defender Isaac Kipyegon has since been called up in Shakava’s place. Also called up is Kipyegon’s teammate at Zoo, Nicholas Kipkirui.

Kenya is scheduled to play Rwanda in her first match of the tournament on Sunday.
