Anderlecht youngster Francis Amuzu is excited about his maiden goal for the club.
On his first senior appearance for the Purple and White, the 18-year-old emerged hero of the day as his strike ensured a 1-0 triumph over AS Eupen in the Belgian topflight on Friday.
"Absolutely, I am very grateful that the coach gave me a chance," Amuzu said said, as reported by Sporza.
"Normally I would not play, but I was allowed to join in. I am really grateful to the coach and the supporters.
"I'm really happy - I got a great pass from [Adrien] Trebel and suddenly I was in front of the goal. It then flashed through my mind that I could score on my debut.
"I gave everything, so physically I was a bit tired."
Amuzu signed his first professional contract in 2015, penning a three-year deal.
Born to Ghanaian parents, the teenager currently plays for Belgium's under-19 side.
