Man Utd submit fresh bid for Koulibaly

Manchester United have launched a £84 million bid for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, according to Corriere dello Sport via Manchester Evening News.

United have identified the 27-year-old as one of their primary targets this summer, but the Italian club are demanding a world record fee for the defender.

Calciomercato claimed that Juventus are in contact with Koulibaly's agents with the hope that Maurizio Sarri’s arrival will help them land the Senegal centre-back.

PSG renew Gueye interest

PSG are still interested in signing Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye after failed bids in January, according to Le10Sport.

The French champions are lining up a £31 million offer the Senegal international, who is believed to be interested in a move to Paris.

PSG were keen on Gueye in January but had two bids rejected by the Toffees, who consider the 29-year-old to be one of their important players.

Liverpool close in on £71m move for Pepe 

Liverpool have stepped up their efforts to sign Ivory Coast international Nicolas Pepe and could table an offer in the region of £71 million for the Lille star.

According to L’Equipe, Jurgen Klopp is desperate to sign the Ivorian to boost the quality in his front-line and the Reds have met Lille's valuation.

Manchester United and Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Pepe after his sensational campaign in the Ligue 1, where he scored 22 goals in 38 games.

Atalanta eye Duncan swoop

Uefa Champions League-bound Atalanta have made Ghana international Alfred Duncan one of their top transfer targets this summer, Gianluca Di Marzio has reported.

Coach Gian Piero Gasperini is reported to be an admirer of Duncan's style of play after watching his displays for Sassuolo last season.

The Ghanaian is joined on Atalanta's transfer radar by his teammate, goalkeeper Andrea Consigli.

Southampton set to sign Okereke

Southampton have agreed a £13.5m deal to sign Nigerian striker David Okereke from Serie B side Spezia, according to the Sun via SkySports.

The Nigerian forward had a decent campaign in the Serie B, where he contributed 10 goals and 12 assists in 31 league outings.

Wolverhampton Wanderers, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace were also said to be interested in his services.
