AFC Leopards pulled a 2-1 win over Kenyan Premier League opponents Ulinzi Stars in a pre-season build-up on Saturday.

New signing Isaac Kipyego, who joined Ingwe from Zoo Kericho hit a brace to help the former KPL giants wind up their pre-season on a high note despite the absence of coach Nikola Kavazovic.

The Serb, who joined AFC Leopards in October from Township Rollers of Botswana, was missing from the dugout, forcing Technical Director Tom Juma to stand in.

Ulinzi Stars coach Dunstan Nyaudo is expected to name his final squad for the upcoming 2018/19 KPL season, anytime from today.

Ulinzi were also expected to take on Mathare United in another friendly but the tie was called off.
