The Fire Club's spokesperson says they will name a new coach next month to replace Kenichi Yatsuhashi

Aduana Stars communications director Evans Oppong has revealed that they will name a new coach in January after a successful job vetting.

The Ghana Premier League champions are without a head coach after parting ways with Japanese Kenichi Yatsuhashi in August following their poor performance in the Caf Confederation Cup.

"Aduana Stars is still in search of a new coach. Our playing body is on a break but the club's management is still at post working seriously," Oppong told Fox FM.

"We have had successful interviews with a lot of coaches. We have met some of them to know their plans if they are given the job and also spoken to the foreign coaches through Skype. So by the end of December, we will name our new coach.

"He will certainly be unveiled in January so that he begins work with the players and know the strength and weaknesses of our team," he added.

According to Goal's sources, over 30 coaches officially applied for the vacant position.
