Aduana Stars sign Caleb Amankwaah in a three-year deal

Aduana Stars have completed the signing of Wafa midfielder Caleb Amankwaah, the Ghana Premier League champions have confirmed.

The 20-year-old signed a three-year deal with Dormaa Ahenkro-based club after an impressing campaign with Wafa last season as they finished second on the log.

Amankwaah believes he took the right decision despite interest from Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak as well as other European clubs. He will team up with former mate Zakaria Mumuni who joined the club last season.

"I'm delighted to be Aduana Stars player and can't wait to get started with my new teammates," Amankwaa said.

"I had to consider several factors before concluding on this opportunity and I believe arriving in Dormaa Ahenkro is in the best interest of my career. I'll do my best to attain the set goals the club wishes to achieve during the upcoming campaign," he added.

Amankwaah has become the third major signing by coach Yusif Abubakar following the arrival of Justice Annan and Hafiz Adams from Berekum Chelsea and Wa All Stars respectively.

Aduana will be participating in the 2018 Caf Champions League and will face El Tahadi from Libya in the preliminary round in February.
