Commentary

FULL TIME - The Mariners led 1-0 at half-time but they were absolutely outclassed in the second half as Sydney poured on five goals including a hat-trick to Alex Brosque. Sydney wins 5-2 and that is enough to take them to the top of the A-League table tonight. 
90' + 1' Brillante shoots from a long way out but this time it's straight at Kennedy.

90' GOAL SYDNEY - The corner is taken short before Brillante brings it back in towards Calver at the back post and he volleys an absolute ripper past a stranded Kennedy to take Sydney back to the top of the ladder with a 5-2 lead. What a way to bring up your first A-League goal!

89' Le Fondre with great ball control gets to the edge of the box and tries to cut it back in but it deflects out for a corner. 
88' Ivanovic with a great run before passing off to Le Fondre who gives it back, but Ivanovic couldn't get any power into the shot and it rolls out for a goal kick. 
86' Ninkovic runs to the byline and tries to shoot from the impossible angle by trying to bend it inside the far post, but he misses by a fair way.
