Leicester are next in action next week in the Premier League at home against Newcastle. Huddersfield are away to Tottenham next tme out.
Leicester continue their charge for seventh place in the Premier League, reeling off their fourth win in a row. It was a solid performance from Brendan Rodgers' men, who were worthy winners over Huddersfield Town this afternoon. Youri Tielemans put the Foxes ahead with a curling strike from inside the box. Jamie Vardy doubled their lead just after the break, although the visitors were pegged back when Aaron Mooy scored a penalty after Karlan Grant was fouled in the area. Huddersfield pressed for an equaliser, but lacked the quality in the final third to force the issue. James Maddison put the game beyond doubt with a fine strike from a free-kick before Vardy scored his second of the game from the penalty spot.

87' WIDE! Mounie misses a huge opportunity to get a goal back for the Terriers. Soyuncu misplaces his offload out from the back and Grant releases the run of his team-mate into the box. However, the forward goes for the strike on his left foot and scuffs it wide of the target.

J. Vardy
Penalty Goal
Leicester City
84' GOALLLLLLLLLL!!! VARDY SCORES!!! 4-1 LEICESTER!! Vardy notches his second goal of the afternoon. It's not his best penalty as Hamer gets a hand to his strike towards the right-bottom corner, but it has enough power to get through and nestle into the back of the net

Huddersfield Town
84' Kongolo goes into the book for his challenge on Vardy that prevented his strike at goal.
84' PENALTY TO LEICESTER! Vardy is brought down by Kongolo in the box after latching on Maddison's offload and rounding Hamer. The referee does not hesitate in pointing to the spot.
83' Mounie takes Lowe's cross out of the air and attempts an overhead kick on the edge of the box. However, he connects with Soyuncu's head and gives away a free-kick. The Leicester defender appears to be okay.

81' Bacuna comes on to the pitch to replace Hogg.
J. Maddison
Goal
Leicester City
79' GOALLLLLLLLLLL!!!! MADDISON BENDS HIS STRIKE INTO THE NET!!!! 3-1 LEICESTER!! The midfielder restores Leicester's two-goal advantage as he curls his effort around the wall and beats the dive of Hamer to nestle into the back of the net. A fine effort from Maddison.
78' Vardy is brought down on the edge of the box from a foul by Hogg. Maddison lines up the free-kick.
77' Leicester break on the counter as Chilwell releases Vardy over the top. Support arrives from Gray before the ball is worked from right to left. Chilwell tees up Maddison for a strike, but he blasts his attempt over the bar.
75' OFFSIDE! Maddison threads a ball through to Vardy, but the striker is a fraction offside. He goes through the motions anyway, chipping an effort at goal, much to the fury of the home supporters.
72' Leicester are trying to find their feet, but are being forced to work hard for their win this afternoon. The Terriers are putting the visitors under pressure all over the park.
70' SAVE! MOUNIE IS DENIED! The striker collects on the edge of the box and turns to create room for a strike on his left foot. Mounie connects well with his effort only to be denied by a strong hand from Schmeichel.
69' Leicester have lost their way since the penalty. They've lacked rhythm in their passing to reassert their authority over the contest.
67' Maddison and Chilwell combine down the left flank, but the full-back's cross is diverted away from the middle by Hogg, allowing Hamer to gather.
64' Gray has space on the right flank, but he cannot force his cross into the box amid pressure from Durm.
62' Lowe sends a dangerous cross into the box from the left flank, but no Huddersfield player can connect at the back post. The home side have improved since getting a goal back. They looked down and out after Vardy scored Leicester's second.

54' Gray has a run down the right flank, but the Huddersfield defence hold firm to keep him at bay.
A. Mooy
Penalty Goal
Huddersfield Town
52' GOALLLLLLLLL!!!! MOOY SCORES FROM 12 YARDS!! 2-1!!! Huddersfield are back in the game as Mooy holds his composure. The Australian places his effort into the right-bottom corner sending Schmeichel the wrong way. Game on.

J. Vardy
Goal
Leicester City
48' GOALLLLLLLLLL!!! VARDY CONVERTS!! 2-0 LEICESTER!! Huddersfield are hit on the counter and the visitors extend their advantage. Gray releases Pereira down the right flank. The Portuguese fires a low ball towards the back post where Vardy makes his run and he is left with a simple finish to side foot a strike into the net.
47' Schmeichel is called on again as Pritchard lines up a strike from the edge of the box as Huddersfield keep the pressure on. However, the midfielder drills his effort straight at the Dane.
47' SAVE! Grant almost gets Huddersfield back on level terms. The substitute Mbenza makes an immediate impact off the bench as he sends a dangerous cross into the box from the right flank. His delivery finds Grant on the stretch, but Schmeichel makes a fine save to deny the striker.
46' We're back underway at John Smith's Stadium.
I. Mbenza
J. Stankovič
Huddersfield Town
46' An attacking change at the break for the home side as Mbenza replaces Stankovic.
It has been an all-too familiar tale for the Terriers under Jan Siewert. They've been toothless in the final third, while at the other end of the pitch they have not been able to cope with Leicester's quality. Unless Huddersfield can produce something special in the second half, they're heading towards yet another defeat.
Leicester lead 1-0 at the break against Huddersfield at John Smith's Stadium. The Foxes should be further ahead, but have not had their shooting boots on in the final third. Youri Tielemans has been the one player to get the breakthrough when he latched on to a loose ball from a corner and curled his effort past Ben Hamer. Demarai Gray has had a couple of good openings to extend his team's advantage, but has lacked a clinical edge in the box. Huddersfield have offfered next to nothing and are showing why they've only scored seven goals at home this term.
45' + 1' HALF-TIME: HUDDERSFIELD TOWN 0-1 LEICESTER CITY
45' There will be one minute of added time.
45' SAVE! Maddison has space on the left flank and he sends an early cross towards Gray. It takes a deflection towards the net, forcing Hamer to claw the ball away from goal.
44' Barnes raids with menace down the left flank. He has support in the final third, but the winger's cutback towards Vardy is broken up by Schindler.
43' SAVE! Gray surges through the Huddersfield defence, which opens right up for the winger. He only has Hamer to beat from the right inside channel, but the Terriers keeper spreads himself to make a vital stop with his body.
42' CHANCE! Maddison releases Chilwell into space just outside of the box. The England man is afforded space and time to fire at goal, only to see his left-footed strike drift inches over the bar.
41' Tielemans lines up the strike from 25 yards from the resulting free-kick, but he sees his deflected effort saved by Hamer.
J. Stankovič
Yellow Card
Huddersfield Town
40' Gray runs through the middle of the Huddersfield midfield before being brought down by Stankovic. The Terriers midfielder goes into the book for his challenge.
37' Huddersfield win a corner down the left flank and Mooy has the opportunity to send a cross into the box. He sends his delivery deep to the back post where Schindler climbs to meet the ball, although he heads his attempt wide of the post.
35' WIDE! Grant causes problems in the final third and he gets the better of Morgan to work the ball back to Pritchard, Schmeichel had committed himself to help his team-mate and raced off his line. Pritchard spotted the keeper out of his goal and went for the chip, but he placed his effort wide, although Soyuncu was there to make sure, heading behind for a corner.
34' Leicester see off the threat with ease, forcing the Terriers back from their own corner. Maddison wins possession and looks for an early ball over the top for Vardy, but Hamer is off his line and makes the claim.
33' Lowe makes a driving run into the box down the right inside channel and he wins a corner off the legs of Ndidi.
31' The Terriers are trying to get their foot on the ball to stem the tide. They are leaving themselves exposed to the counter by pushing men forward into the Leicester half.
29' Leicester are all over the home side now. Huddersfield are struggling to cope with the pace and movement of the Leicester attackers in the final third.
27' Maddison almost surges through the middle of the Huddersfield defence, but Stankovic does just enough to knock the ball away from the Leicester man.
25' CHANCE! Vardy breaks in behind the Huddersfield defence and tries to pull the trigger. Schindler makes the covering challenge and does enough to stop the strike, although he may have clipped the heels of Vardy. The loose ball falls to Gray to strike in a crowded area, but he blasts his effort over the bar.
Y. Tielemans
Goal
Leicester City
24' GOALLLLLLLLLL!!! TIELEMANS PUTS LEICESTER AHEAD!! 1-0!!! The Foxes take the lead after a scramble in the box as Tielemans bends his strike into the net. Maddison worked the initial corner short for Vardy to strike at goal. His effort was blocked, but Morgan kept the attack alive. The ball rolled to Tielemans to strike and he did not disappoint, curling his strike through a crowd of players and past Hamer. The Huddersfield keeper perhaps should have done better, although it was a crowded penalty area.
23' Gray runs at Durm down the right flank and he tries to force a low ball into the box, but the defender guides it out for a corner on the slide.
20' Leicester seem content to sit back and absorb the pressure from the home side, using their pace on the counter to break forward. Rodgers will be satisfied with his side's start to the game.
18' CLOSE! Barnes causes problems again down the left flank. He forces a low ball towards the near post and Maddison tries to connect, but he cannot make clean contact on his strike, allowing Hamer to save before the Terriers scramble it away.
J. Hogg
Yellow Card
Huddersfield Town
17' Hogg pulls back Maddison on the charge and goes into the book.
15' Lowe has space down the left flank and he goes for the deep cross to the back post, but once again he overhits his cross into the middle.
12' Huddersfield are trying to force the issue across the pitch, but are finding it difficult to make meaningful penetration in the Leicester half.
10' Gray works the ball towards Barnes on the left flank. He cuts back to send a cross into the box, but Maddison cannot connect with his header from close range.
8' Hamer tries to work the ball out from the back and he goes for the kick downfield, but he blasts the ball into touch. Not the best distribution from the Terriers keeper.
7' Morgan fouls Grant in the final third and gives Huddersfield another free-kick. The home side have made a bright start to the contest, although they've not threatened Schmeichel's goal.
5' Lowe overhits his cross all the way out for a goal-kick. A disappointing delivery from the German.
5' Soyuncu gives away a needless foul down Huddersfield's right flank for a challenge on Pritchard. Lowe will deliver the ball into the box.
4' Lowe gets in behind the Leicester defence down the left flank and he cuts the ball back into the middle, but Hogg cannot take the ball in stride.
2' Tielemans has to cover his defensive duties, conceding a corner down the left flank. However, the home side are unable to threaten from their short-corner routine as Durm sends his cross out for a goal-kick.
1' Gray releases Barnes down the left flank with a fine cross-field pass. He runs at Smith, but loses out, conceding a goal-kick as the defender makes the challenge and knocks it off his leg.
1' We're underway at John Smith's Stadium.
Huddersfield are winless in their last 10 league meetings with Leicester (D1 L9) since a 3-1 victory in the second tier in November 1995.
Rodgers has been forced into one change this afternoon from the team that defeated Bournemouth last week. Soyuncu comes into the defence to replace the injured Jonny Evans, while Harry Maguire is absent for personal reasons.
Huddersfield have made one change to their side from their defeat to Palace last time out. Stankovic comes into the fold to replace Bacuna in the middle of the park, while Grant continues to lead the line supported by Pritchard from deep.
SUBS: Kelechi Iheanacho, Danny Ward, Shinji Okazaki, Nampalys Mendy, Christian Fuchs, Rachid Ghezzal, Hamza Choudhury.
LEICESTER (4-1-4-1): Kasper Schmeichel; Ricardo Pereira, Wes Morgan, Cagler Soyuncu, Ben Chilwell; Wilfred Ndidi; Demarai Gray, Youri Tielemans, James Maddison, Harvey Barnes; Jamie Vardy.

HUDDERSFIELD (4-4-1-1): Ben Hamer; Tommy Smith, Christopher Schindler, Terence Kongolo, Erik Durm; Aaron Mooy, Jon Goren Stankovic, Jonathan Hogg, Chris Lowe; Alex Pritchard; Karlan Grant.
Since losing his first game in charge in a 2-1 defeat to Watford, Brendan Rodgers has enjoyed an impressive run in the early days of his Leicester City reign. The Foxes have won their last three matches on the bounce and are making a strong push to finish the best of the rest in the Premier League in seventh spot. They begin the day three points behind Wolves, although they can close the gap with a win due to their rivals' commitments in the FA Cup this weekend.
Huddersfield's relegation from the Premier League was confirmed in their 2-0 defeat to Crystal Palace last time out. Jan Siewert has been unable to reverse the club's fortunes since his arrival in January, losing eight of his nine matches in charge. Although his side are already down, they will want to avoid finishing the term with the second-lowest points total in Premier League history - one point separates them from the 2005/06 Sunderland team. As a result, there's still some motivation for the Terriers.
Good afternoon and welcome to the live commentary of the Premier League clash between Huddersfield Town and Leicester City at John Smith's Stadium.
