Izzo was fantastic in goals for the Reds and would be the man of the match by a long way. Brisbane tried to find a way through but Izzo was just too strong tonight.

HALF TIME: BRISBANE ROAR 0 ADELAIDE UNITED 1 - The Reds go in to the half time break holding a 1-0 lead over the Roar. The Reds scored in the sixth minute from the head of Fardal Opseth. The Roar did have a couple of close shaves themselves on goal, but Izzo's great keeping kept them out. The Reds nearly scored just before stoppage time, as Mileusnic hit the post. We are set for a big second half.

Mileusnic takes a shot on goal and it bounces into the far post and bounces away to the corner. Young was stunned and did not move, so it would have been a certain goal.
McDonald takes on all comers, as he looks to have a shot on goal from outside of the box and he blasts it over the crossbar.
The Roar are starting to gain momentum as they push freely into their attacking half.
O'Shea takes the set piece, as he forces Izzo to dive away to his right an push the ball over the crossbar for a stunning save.
Both teams need to cool it as there has been too many yellow cards in the last few minutes.

Adelaide United have lost their last four A-League games, conceding a total of 15 goals in that stretch, a fifth straight defeat would set a new club record for consecutive losses in the competition.
