Thank you for joining our coverage, we hope you enjoyed the game! Until next time, goodbye!
Leverkusen will look to get back to winning ways as they visit Eintracht Frankfurt next, while Bayern host Mainz.
There goes the full-time whistle! Leverkusen took the lead early in the first half as Schick struck a sumptuous volley following a short corner, but two errors from Tah cost his side. The defender jumped into Hradecky, allowing Lewandowski to head into an empty net, before his heavy touch was pounced on as the lethal Bayern striker fired in off Tapsoba's shin in the final seconds of the game. The result sees Bayern leapfrog Leverkusen and go two points clear at the top of the table. It finishes 2-1 to Bayern!
J. Kimmich
90' + 3' Kimmich pressed high from midfield and took full advantage of Tah's heavy touch to feed Lewandowski in a dangerous position. The Leverkusen defender has really cost his team tonight.
R. Lewandowski
90' + 3' GOAL!!!! LEWANDOWSKI HAS SURELY WON IT FOR BAYERN!!!! Tah takes a heavy touch at the back and is robbed by Kimmich, who plays Lewandowski into the box on the left. The striker opens up his body and lashes a shot at goal that Tapsoba tries to block, but it takes a wicked deflection off the defender's shin that sends it into the net past Hradecky! It's 2-1 to Bayern Munich with what may well be the last kick of the game!!
90' + 2' Lewandowski's shot from the edge of the box deflects awkwardly and loops towards goal, but Hradecky is able to claim the ball despite Muller putting him under pressure.
90' CHANCE! Diaby puts on a burst of pace and skips away from Davies before flashing an inviting ball across the face of goal, but Alario just can't quite get his head to it and it sails harmlessly away!
88' There are some tired legs out there as the match draws to a close. Neither set of players appears to have quite enough left in the collective tank to put together a sustained spell of pressure.
86' Kimmich fires a corner into the middle as Bayern look to exploit a set-piece, but Hradecky just about punches the delivery clear.
84' Neither side has had their 18-yard-box breached since Hradecky tipped Gnabry's low drive past the post nearly 20 minutes ago. Both teams are keen not to overcommit and get caught on the break.
L. Alario
P. Schick
82' Bosz makes another change now, bringing Schick off for Alario in search of a winning goal.
79' POST! The ball is fizzed across to the right for Musiala on the edge of the box and the substitute takes a touch before sweeping a low effort towards the bottom-right corner that pings back off the face of the post! Hradecky wasn't getting anywhere near that!
76' Both sides seem to be starting to run out of steam now. There's a just a fraction less finesse to the attacks being constructed and things are breaking down in the final third.
K. Demirbay
L. Bailey
74' Bosz makes a change now, bringing Bailey off for a naturally central player in Demirbay.
L. Bailey
Yellow Card
72' Bailey is booked now as he stops Davies from bursting clear on the counter by pulling him back.
70' It's end-to-end stuff at the moment. The game has gotten very stretched and there's plenty of space as a result.
J. Kimmich
C. Tolisso
68' Meanwhile, the second change sees Tolisso go off for Kimmich in midfield.
J. Musiala
L. Sané
68' Flick makes a double-change now as he chases the game. Sane, having come on as a substitute for the injured Coman in the first half, does not look too pleased to be hooked. Musiala comes on to replace him.
67' SAVE! Gnabry is clean through as Muller threads a lovely ball through to him and he drives a powerful, low effort across goal with his weaker left foot that Hradecky can only turn just past the post! That shot was hammered at goal!
65' Lewandowski drives a dangerous, low ball in from the right that is just about dealt with. Leverkusen then break themselves as Diaby is released on the right, but he's stopped in his tracks as he reaches the box.
63' Gnabry does superbly to slalom between two defenders and into the box on the left before allowing Muller to take over. The German hesitates, however, and the chance goes begging as he's closed down.
61' SAVE! Amiri shifts past his man on the edge of the box and thumps a fierce, swerving strike at goal, but Neuer reads it well and makes the stop, before gathering the loose ball. That strike had plenty of sting in it.
59' Bayern have been forced back into their own half now as Leverkusen work the ball around, searching for an opening. The momentum of this game keeps swinging back and forth.
57' Leverkusen have found their feet in this half now and are starting to see more of the ball and ask more questions of the Bayern defence.
55' Sane barges Sinkgraven over from behind as the Leverkusen left-back surged towards the box and the free-kick is in a promising position. The hosts want a card, but it isn't coming.
53' Dragovic executes a superb sliding challenge as Davies races towards a quick free-kick into the box, winning the ball perfectly to clear the danger.
51' Diaby throws his arms up in frustration as he and Schick get their wires crossed. The latter held the ball when the former wanted it played, and the eventual pass ends up going to nobody.
49' Bayern are still dominating at the start of the half and Leverkusen are struggling to match their intensity at the moment.
47' CHANCES! Bayern start the half with real intent as they attack down their left. Hradecky is forced to dive and tip a low cross away, before Gnabry finds Muller with a cut-back and the German's shot on the swivel is blocked!
46' We're back underway for the second half!
Flick will not be happy with how his side started the game, but can take some encouragement from how they responded to going behind. Meanwhile, Bosz will have the opposite frustration after seeing his side allow their lead to slip following a strong start. Both managers will demand consistency from their players in the second half.
There goes the half-time whistle! Leverkusen started strongly and went ahead inside the opening quarter of an hour as Schick thumped a sweetly-struck volley in following a short corner, but Bayern grew into the game and Lewandowski netted his 16th league goal of the season as a mix-up between Tah and Hradecky left him with an empty net. It's 1-1 at the break!
45' + 4' BLOCKS! Lewandowski takes a free-kick from the left that strikes the wall and comes back, before thumping another effort at goal that is blocked away. Leverkusen are hanging on for half-time now!
45' + 2' OVER! Sane whips a free-kick in from the right and Lewandowski rises to meet it at the near post, but he can't keep it down and nods over the bar!
45' Lewandowski's goal sees him continue his terrific run of goalscoring form. Coming into this game, he had scored 15 goals in the first 12 Bundesliga games of the campaign - over the last 47 Bundesliga seasons, only Lewandowski himself had ever scored more goals at that stage of a campaign (16 in 2019/20).
T. Müller
43' Muller got plenty of height on his cross and it created some indecision at the back for Leverkusen, but Tah and Hradecky's miscommunication also had a huge part to play in handing Lewandowski a chance he couldn't miss.
R. Lewandowski
43' GOAL!!! LEWANDOWSKI EQUALISES FOR BAYERN!!! Sane feeds Muller on the right in space and the German floats a cross into the box where Lewandowski is waiting. Tah and Hradecky both try and cut the delivery out and end up getting in each other's way, allowing the unmarked striker to head into an empty net! It's 1-1 now!
40' Sane surges infield from the right and tries to slide the ball through for Lewandowski, but there's a misunderstanding and the pass ends up behind the striker.
38' Amiri surges forward from midfield and glides through the Bayern lines, but he overruns it as he reaches the box and Neuer is out to smother.
36' Sule takes on a very ambitious effort from outside the box, and his strike is thumped harmlessly over the bar.
34' It seems that Sane has, for now at least, remained in the right-wing position that Coman was occupying, rather than switching across to his favoured left-wing role.
L. Sané
K. Coman
32' That enforced change is now made, with Coman replaced by Sane on the wing.
31' Coman has gone down in some pain and it doesn't look good for the Frenchman. He may have to be replaced.
29' VAR confirms that the goal should not stand, and also dismisses Bayern's penalty appeals for handball a minute earlier as Gnabry's shot was blocked by Tah in the box. The ball did strike the defender's hand, but it was tucked into his chest and the spot-kick is not given.
28' NO GOAL! Schick races clear in behind the Bayern defence and arrives just inside the box before slotting a low effort into the bottom-left corner, but the flag goes up after the ball hits the net! VAR will run a check to make sure, however.
26' Davies does really well as Bailey runs at him and cuts inside, winning the ball back and protecting it well before diffusing the danger with a simple pass. It looked as though the Leverkusen winger was away from the Canadian.
S. Gnabry
Yellow Card
24' Gnabry receives the first yellow card of the night for a poor challenge on Dragovic out wide.
22' WIDE! Diaby drives into the box from the left and bursts past Hernandez, but the angle closes on him and he fires wide of the near post!
21' CHANCE! Bayern spurn a great chance to equalise! Davies bursts down the left and cuts the ball back into the box, but Alaba can't connect with it! It runs through for Lewandowski, but the striker uncharacteristically drags his shot and it hits Alaba again, who can't take it in and the ball is cleared!
19' SAVE! Wirtz flicks cleverly into the path of Schick on the edge of the box and the Leverkusen goalscorer goes for goal from range, but Neuer is down to hold on at his near post!
18' Bayern have shown a great deal more intent since going behind. They're finally pushing forward out of their half and are now enjoying a spell of possession.
16' Including tonight, Bayern have gone behind in each of their last seven Bundesliga games, but haven’t lost any of the last six. Bayern are the first team in league history to pick up points after falling behind in six consecutive games. Can they repeat the trick again tonight?
N. Amiri
14' Amiri saw Schick hanging back in space and picked the forward out with a calm, composed delivery that sat up perfectly for him to strike.
P. Schick
14' GOAL!!! SCHICK FIRES LEVERKUSEN IN FRONT!!! Bailey takes a short corner to Amiri on the right and the midfielder dinks the ball into the box. It falls to an unmarked Schick just inside the area on the left, and the forward thumps a sumptuous volley past a helpless Neuer and in at the near post! It's 1-0 to Leverkusen!
11' Bailey has had a couple of chances to run at his man down the right, but he's not made the most of them, often running the ball out of play.
9' Bayern have been surprisingly passive to this point. They've not been pressing with any great intensity and have allowed Leverkusen to dominate proceedings.
7' The hosts have seen far more of the ball in the opening minutes and are dictating the game. They're definitely on top at the moment.
5' Tah is a little overzealous in the challenge and fouls Lewandowski just inside the Bayern half, granting the visitors a reprieve.
3' Leverkusen have settled into the game now and are probing for gaps in the Bayern defence. They've recovered well from that earlier blip.
1' Leverkusen give the ball away cheaply in their third and Bayern have the chance to break into the box, but Dragovic nips in ahead of Davies to turn the ball behind for a corner. Nervy start from the hosts.
1' We're underway in Leverkusen!
Additionally, Leverkusen have lost just three of their last 11 Bundesliga home games against Bayern. Since the start of 2010, no other team has picked up points in as many Bundesliga home games against Bayern as Leverkusen (8).
Leverkusen are unbeaten after the first 12 Bundesliga games of a season for the first time since 2009/10 (W8, D4). With 28 points and a goal-difference of +17, Leverkusen are enjoying their third-best start to a Bundesliga season in club history.
Meanwhile, there's just one alteration to the Bayern team that beat Wolfsburg 2-1 in their last Bundesliga fixture. Head coach Hansi Flick brings Davies into the side, with Sane finding himself on the bench.
Leverkusen manager Peter Bosz makes two changes to the back line of the side that won 4-0 in Cologne last time out. Weiser and Wendell drop to the bench and are replaced by Tapsoba and Sinkgraven in the starting line-up.
Bayern Munich substitutes: Jamal Musiala, Alexander Nubel, Leroy Sane, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Marc Roca, Douglas Costa, Joshua Kimmich, Benjamin Pavard, Chris Richards.
Bayern Munich XI (4-2-3-1): Manuel Neuer; Niklas Sule, Jerome Boateng, Lucas Hernandez, Alphonso Davies; Corentin Tolisso, David Alaba; Kingsley Coman, Thomas Muller, Serge Gnabry; Robert Lewandowski.
Bayer Leverkusen substitutes: Niklas Lomb, Mitchell Weiser, Karim Bellarabi, Wendell, Tin Jedvaj, Lucas Alario, Emrehan Gedikli, Cem Tuna Turkmen, Kerem Demirbay.
Bayer Leverkusen XI (4-3-3): Lukas Hradecky; Aleksandar Dragovic, Jonathan Tah, Edmond Tapsoba, Daley Sinkgraven; Florian Wirtz, Julian Baumgartlinger, Nadiem Amiri; Leon Bailey, Patrik Schick, Moussa Diaby.
League leaders Leverkusen host reigning champions Bayern - who are one point behind in third - in what could prove to be a pivotal contest in the Bundesliga title race come the end of the season.
