  • Kevin De Bruyne Manchester City 2018-19

Assist king Kevin De Bruyne was brilliant

Having registered two assists in Manchester City’s 3-1 success at Crystal Palace, the Belgian playmaker didn’t let off against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday night.

De Bruyne went one better by directly playing a part in three of City’s goals as it ended 4-3.

Having struggled for fitness and form all season, KDB seems to be ending the campaign with a flurry.

  • Raheem Sterling Manchester City 2018-19

    Raheem Sterling can't stop scoring

What more can be said about the menacing Sterling? It’s getting to a point where you seem to be running out of superlatives for the brilliant Englishman.

He scored a brace at Palace, and repeated the feat under the lights at the Etihad Stadium against Spurs.

Both goals were expertly finished, and he was unlucky to have a third ruled out for offside.

  • Sergio Aguero Manchester City 2018-19

Deadly Sergio Aguero looked the part

He may missed a penalty in the reverse fixture at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, however, Aguero delivered amazingly in the second leg, with his movement and link-up causing the Lilly Whites problems all night.

His goal was finished with aplomb and he also registered an assist for Bernardo Silva to cap off a colossal performance.
  • Bernardo Silva Manchester City

Bernardo Silva showed his importance to City on return

Hardworking, creative and potent are adjectives that could qualify Bernardo.

The Portuguese missed the initial meeting between these sides and was sorely missed.

On the wide playmaker’s return to the starting lineup, what he brings to the side was evident from the blast of the whistle.

He didn’t lose possession at any point in the game, either, and deserved his goal which brought City level at 2-2.
